Where Wollaton Hall parkrun
Kev’s recap: “It was a scorcher for our Nottingham local meet-up this morning ☀️
This month, we visited Wollaton Park, home of Wollaton Hall, aka Wayne Manor or Batman’s gaff.
Taking their turn to protect our planet, Caren & Jon cycled, whilst Matt J, Matt N, and Kev all ran to the park 🚴♂️🏃♂️
Matt N blew his reputation for a right on time arrival by arriving 7 minutes after the 9am start. However, he then enhanced his legendary speedy status by catching and passing most of the field 🚀
A post parkrun litter pick was happily fruitless with only a few items of litter found 🗑
Our green superheroes capped the morning with refreshments in the sunshine before a planet friendly commute home ☕️”

Run or walk parkrun at your own pace. We plan to litter pick after the run, followed by refreshments in the café for those who want to stay.
Travel
🚌 The Nottingham City 30 and trentbarton two buses run from Nottingham to Wollaton in about 15 minutes and are about 15 minutes walk from the railway station. The bus stops in Wollaton are approximately a 5 minutes walk from the parkrun start.
🚂 Wollaton Hall is approximately 3.5 miles from Nottingham railway station and 3 miles from Beeston railway station.
