About our guests:

Adharanand Finn is an award-winning author and journalist best known for his books Running with the Kenyans, The Way of the Runner, and The Rise of the Ultra Runners. His work explores the intersection of endurance, culture, and the human spirit through running. A former competitive runner himself, Adharanand brings deep curiosity and experience to his writing and interviews. He also hosts The Way of the Runner podcast, where he speaks with athletes, coaches, and adventurers about what drives them to go the distance.

Holly Stables is a British ultrarunner, coach and co-founder of RushByNature. A former elite marathoner, she represented Great Britain at the 2010 European Championships and Commonwealth Games. She’s earned team medals in long-distance mountain running and now focuses on ultra-trail, with standout runs at Comrades, UTMB, and the Annapurna Circuit. In 2025, Holly completed The Speed Project—over 300 miles solo through the desert—finishing second overall. Her film about the run is available to watch now.

David Miller David Miller is an award-winning sports photographer based in Weymouth, England. His image of Jasmin Paris at the 2024 Barkley Marathons has become one of the most iconic in sport. That moment—and many others—feature in his first photo book, Do Not Block Gate, which reached the number one photography book on Amazon. The book captures the pain and triumph of a Barkley Marathons that will never be forgotten.

TGR co-founder Dan Lawson is a world-class ultrarunner with podium finishes at the Spartathlon and the European 24-hour Championships. Just as driven by sustainability as by speed, he co-founded ReRun Clothing to reduce textile waste in sport by extending the life of running gear. Dan champions second-hand kit, avoids new purchases, and uses his platform to call for systemic change. As a founding member of The Green Runners, he inspires others to take climate action—proving that performance and purpose can go stride for stride.
