Where Colwick parkrun
Kev’s recap: “Colwick Country Park was the venue for our Nottingham Local Meet Up this morning.
Our group ran parkrun at their own pace, although Kev was enjoying a chatty run with Tracey when he noticed she kept slowly increasing the pace and the chatter became communication using single words only. 🤣
Sadly, our group found an abundance of litter on their post parkrun litter pick. It’s frustrating that people can’t enjoy beautiful green spaces without littering. 🌿
We wrapped up a lovely morning hearing all about Jon and Caren’s amazing 100-mile ultramarathon exploits over coffee at the cafe. They have documented their recent race in two YouTube videos. “

Afterwards, please join us for a cool down jog combined with some litter picking 🗑 followed by refreshments and chat in the café. 🫖☕️
Travel
We encourage sustainable travel wherever possible. Regular bus services from Nottingham City Centre to the racecourse, which is a short walk/jog from Wired Café
Trains run from Nottingham to Netherfield railway station, which is a short warm-up jog from Colwick Park.
